    METI recognizes the minute but crucial differences that make pediatric medicine uniquely challenging – distinctions in anatomy, reactions to drugs, types of injuries and underlying physical conditions. Just as the HPS relies on highly precise computer modeling of human physiology and pharmacology, the PediaSim operates on the basis of delicately calibrated mathematical equations that reflect those of the pediatric patient.
    BabySIM®
    The BabySIM makes it possible to prepare learners for interaction with our most vulnerable patients—in a safe, realistic learning environment. Intricate details such as realistic touch and feel, clinched fists and a loving layer of baby fat help create an appropriate representation of a three- to six-month old infant.     The CAE Fidelis Maternal Fetal Simulator was developed for clinicians and interprofessional teams who manage normal deliveries as well as childbirth complications and obstetrical emergencies. The birthing simulator offers reliable, realistic training for childbirth maneuvers and emergency response when time is short and teamwork is essential.

    CAESAR®   (Trauma Training Simulator for First Responders)
    Built for trauma, disaster response and combat casualty care, Caesar is the most rugged patient simulator available today. With life-sized realism and modeled physiology, Caesar offers clinical accuracy for basic to advanced point-of-injury training. Deploy Caesar to any challenging climage, terrain or training environment. Through tourniquet placements, patient decontamination, and extreme temperatures and conditions, Caesar remains tough-skinned and resilient.

    Caesar is built for durability in order to train emergency field responders who may be subjected to harsh climates and terrains. With rugged skin that is water-resistant, Caesar can rise to the challenge of demanding, point-of-care training. For added realism, Caesar has articulation of his neck, back, shoulder, elbows, forearms and wrists as well as directional eye movement and speech patterns that reflect his level of consciousness.

    Dramatic bleeding, moulage and modular limbs With the capacity to hold up to 1.4 liters of blood on board, Caesar can present dramatic bleeding from up to six sites and produce automatic physiological responses to tourniquet application. Caesar is built with modular limbs. His optional wounds kit includes right hand glove with gunshot wound, abdominal multiple gunshot wound, wrist injury and trauma face.

    FX®   (FX-Trauma-Simulation-Kit)
    FXT Simulated Wound Kit

    Lifelike moulage wounds to fully immerse learners in trauma situations. Developed with the assistance of the U.S. Army, FX is a complete, turnkey moulage simulation solution that comes in a convenient flight-case with organized product compartments. Optional components include amputations, degloving of the hand and impalement.

    FX was developed in part with the U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command, Simulation and Training Technology Center (RDE-COM STTC) through the Severe Trauma Simulation (STS) Program.

    VIMEDIX®   (UltraSound Simulator)
    VIMEDIX transforms learning for echocardiography

    VIMEDIX is a ground-breaking echocardiography training platform that offers on-demand learning without risk to live patients. Using computer-generated echo simulation, VIMEDIX teaches learners how to perform cardiac echo imaging procedures and interpret the scanned ultrasound images.

    With a manikin, mock ultrasound transducer and graphic representation of both the patient anatomy and the ultrasound scan in real-time, VIMEDIX offers an immersive ultrasound simulation learning environment that shortens the path to competency. The VIMEDIX manikin's realistic tactile features, including a depressible abdomen, ribs and sternum allow the student to practice fine motor skills associated with performing cardiac ultrasound exams.

    EndoVR®   (Endoscopy Simulator)
    Realistic tactile and physiological feedback for gastrointestinal and bronchial endoscopy

    With realistic haptic technology, EndoVR allows learners to "get a feel" for both gastrointestinal and bronchial assessment. The system exposes learners to a wide range of anatomies and pathologies so they can quickly increase confdence and comfort. EndoVR supports three learning environments on one platform, including bronchoscopic, upper gastrointestinal tract (GI) and lower gastrointestinal tract (GI) procedures. Faculty can upload their own multimedia didactic content and learners are debriefed after each case with evidence-based performance metrics.

    CathLAB®   (Angio Simulator)
    Risk-free practice of cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures

    CathLabVR ofers best-in-class and true-to-life tactile sensations of the forces encountered when manipulating wires, catheters, balloons and stents within a patient. Learners are able to practice accessing and navigating diverse anatomies with cardiac and vascular abnormalities.     LapVR®   (Laparoscopy Simulator)
    The LapVR simulator realistically reproduces laparoscopic procedures with accurate haptic technology for practice of suturing, knot-tying and loop ligation as well as general surgery and ob/gyn procedures. With real patient training cases, LapVR ofers ease-of-use for instructors and detailed performance metrics for evaluation.
